J Sagar Associates (JSA) partner Vishal Anand died from a cardiac arrest on 2 December after being hospitalized for nearly four weeks.
“We suffered a devastating, unfair and untimely loss of a much-loved member of the JSA family,” said the firm. “It is a deep personal loss for many who worked closely with Vishal at JSA for over six years.”
Mr. Anand was 35 years old. He is survived by his wife and daughter.
“Personally, it has been shattering. I lost my younger brother,” JSA senior partner Amit Kapur told India Business Law Journal.
