Linklaters has appointed Hong Kong-based capital markets partner William Liu as its new regional managing partner, Asia, for a four-year period from 1 June 2021.
Liu succeeds banking partner Nathalie Hobbs in Hong Kong, who has completed her term.
Liu joined Linklaters in 1998 as a trainee in Hong Kong and gained a partnership in 2008, in the Shanghai office. He has served as head of China and head of capital markets, Asia, since 2018, and also sits on the Asia executive committee.
