The Yangon office strengthens BKL’s strategy in Southeast Asia. Last year, with a view to becoming more specialized in legal services to the region, BKL opened offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and in Hong Kong, adding to its offices in Seoul, Beijing and Shanghai. The firm also has lawyers present in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia and Laos, and has built a co-operative relationship with major law firms in those countries, enabling it to provided legal services across the region.
