I would like to express my praise for the article Retreat or retweet? published in your April 2012 issue. As your article clearly states, many Indian professional organizations do not have a clear social networking policy and this is reflected in the partisan and often irresponsible content many employees across a range of business sectors publish online. The article was clear, cogent and methodical, and prompts Indian businesses to answer the very necessary questions they should be already considering in relation to social network usage.

I congratulate the author, Vandana Chatlani, on her inclusion of relevant and focused examples throughout the article, supported with clear and unambiguous language. To this I add a more general note of appreciation for conceiving of a practical and well-needed piece of journalism.
