The article by Rebecca Abraham titled In-house divas in your March edition was really interesting. It is very encouraging to read about women doing well in the legal profession while being able to maintain a work-life balance.

The article re-emphasizes that gone are the days when female attorneys were not considered to be as competent as their male counterparts. It brings forth the fact that the legal profession in India has moved away from preconceived biases and has progressed towards a land of equal opportunity for both men and women. I hope that this will encourage more females from the younger generation to take up the legal profession and that they will continue to shine.
