Akin Gump has beefed up its Hong Kong finance practice with several new partners that cap a recent exodus from Bingham McCutchen to the firm.

Charles Rogers, Matthew Puhar, Anne-Marie Godfrey, Naomi Moore and Mark Fucci are the new recruits, and arrive amid a focused expansion of the firm in Hong Kong, London and Frankfurt. Rogers and Puhar will focus on public and private cross-border corporate, debt and equity investment, corporate finance and restructuring transactions. Moore will focus on cross-border restructurings, insolvencies and workouts.

Matthew_PuharFucci focuses on financial restructuring, while Godfrey joins as a partner in the investment management practice.
