CMS Singapore hires India desk chief

CMS has hired Babita Ambekar as a corporate partner and head of the firm’s India desk in Singapore. She joins from DWF, where she was a partner and global head of India practice.

Ambekar advises on transactions for clients across industries including technology, energy, life sciences, retail, food and hospitality. Her clients are primarily based in the Asia-Pacific – with the majority in Southeast Asia, India and Japan – and include publicly listed entities, private entities with a regional presence and multinationals.
