Gide Loyrette Nouel opts for more experience with new Shanghai partner

Gide Loyrette Nouel (GLN) has recruited Paul-Emmanuel Benachi to the firm’s Shanghai office as a partner.

During nine years of practising law in China, Benachi has developed experience advising foreign companies on investing, and his practice focuses predominantly on corporate law and merger and acquisition matters, cross-border transactions and restructuring. He also regularly advises clients on retail, real estate and labour law matters.

Antoine de la Gatinais, head of GLN’s Shanghai office, said Benachi’s appointment “reflects a continuing commitment of the firm to its strong China practice”.
