Sichuan Junhe Law Firm was established in July 1994. It is a special general partnership law firm approved by the Ministry of Justice, with a paid-in partnership capital of nearly RMB13 million (USD1.9 million). Adhering to the principles of “integrity, pragmatism, dedication and innovation”, it is known for its scale, modernisation, specialisation and team spirit. It implements the practice philosophy of “supreme justice of law” and “seeking the maximum legal benefits for the parties”, and ranks among the top in Sichuan with its profound cultural heritage and high public evaluation.
After 30 years of development, Junhe has purchased nearly 3,000 square metres of office space in the core business district of Chengdu. There are more than 230 practising lawyers, including 57 partners. Over the years, Sichuan Junhe has taken a leading position in many legal service professional fields. It has successively entered the service organisation reserve library of provincial and municipal state-owned assets supervision and administration commissions, members of China Interbank Market Dealers Association, bankruptcy case administrators of municipal people’s courts, and bankruptcy case administrators of provincial people’s court (Tier 1 administrators).
The firm has won the Justice Contribution Award from the Ministry of Justice; and was awarded by the Ministry of Justice and Sichuan province as “Honest Practice Law Firm”, “Provincial Civilised Law Firm”, “Quality Service Star Enterprise”, “Sichuan Excellent Law Firm”, “Chengdu Excellent Law Firm” and other honours. In 2018 and 2019, the firm was successfully selected in “China’s Top 100 Law Firms”. In order to strengthen cohesion and create a cultural atmosphere at the firm, Junhe founded the internal journal Junhe monthly and Junhe lawyers forum. On the 30th anniversary of the firm’s founding, Junhe published a 15-part 2024 series entitled “Junhe Lawyer Forum – Collected Essays on the 30th anniversary of the founding of Sichuan Junhe Law Firm”. In September 2025, the firm was named an “Outsatnding Member (2020–2025)” by the Sichuan Bankruptcy Administrator Association, with two of its cases also selected among the Association’s “Top 10 Typical Cases of Derivative Litigation in Bankruptcy” and “Top Ten Excellent Cases of Bankruptcy Administrator Performance”, respectively.
