Speaking to India Business Law Journal about his decision to move, Verma said: “Yeh dil maange more (the heart wants more). There was a lot of untapped potential and bandwidth due to our boutique setup [at DGS]. In comparison, Link Legal is in expansion mode, strengthening its corporate practice. We already have some very strong and acknowledged verticals and we strive to be a full-service law firm by growing at a steady pace.”

“We had a great stint at DGS,” Gaur told India Business Law Journal. “It is indeed a great opportunity to work with an esteemed and growing firm like Link legal India Law Services. I am really excited and looking forward to growing with the firm.”

Harish Kumar, who has also joined in New Delhi, moved from DMD Advocates. He has over 14 years of experience in corporate law including corporate restructuring, M&A, fundraising, corporate advisory and corporate governance. Prior to DMD, Kumar worked with the erstwhile Amarchand Mangaldas, in-house at Jaypee Group and at Shiv-Vani Oil & Gas Exploration Services, and at Singhania & Co.

Karra moved to the firm’s Mumbai office from Argus Partners. She has 10 years of experience advising clients on private equity investments, M&A, corporate advisory and project finance. Before Argus, she worked at Wipro, Amarchand Mangaldas and Luthra & Luthra.
