India is emerging as one of the fastest growing economies in the world and a destination for tremendous investment opportunities.

To sustain this momentum, upgradation and modernization of infrastructure; including airports is imperative.

Recognizing the importance of good quality airport infrastructure in a country’s growth, the Government of India has developed a public private partnership (PPP) framework for modernizing the existing airports and developing new airports, i.e., greenfield airports.

Dinesh Pardasani and Sushmita Haldar are lawyers with Trilegal, Delhi. Trilegal is a full service law firm with offices in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
