Proskauer has beefed up its private investment funds practice with the recruitment of Ren Yong as a partner in the firm’s Beijing office.

Ren deals with all aspects of private investment funds from formation to management and compliance. He joins Proskauer from Mayer Brown, where he focused on representing private equity, hedge funds, funds of funds, venture capital, distressed opportunities, mezzanine, and real estate firms in the US, Asia and Europe.
