Sidharth Bhasin, a prominent lawyer within the Indian legal diaspora, has joined Latham & Watkins’ Singapore office as a partner in its M&A and private equity practices.
Bhasin previously led Shearman & Sterling’s India practice from Singapore, advising most recently on OMERS Infrastructure’s USD220 million acquisition of a stake in New York stock exchange-listed Azure Power.
Bhasin advises on public and private M&A transactions, joint ventures, private equity investments and exits, capital markets offerings, and restructurings.
