Sony Pictures Television, an indirect subsidiary of Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE), has completed its acquisition of a 32% stake in Multi Screen Media from Grandway Global Holdings and Atlas Equifin. The acquisition was made through SPE Mauritius Holdings and SPE Mauritius Investments, indirect subsidiaries of SPE, for US$271 million. The transaction increases Sony Pictures Television’s interest in the Indian company to just over 94%.
