Sumes Dewan, a former partner at Desai & Diwanji, has joined hands with a group of lawyers to start Lex Favios, a full-service law firm with offices in Delhi and Mumbai.
The firm, which was set to begin operations on 5 September, will focus on M&A, capital markets, taxation and litigation.
Lex Favios has five practice heads, with Dewan as its managing partner. The practice heads are Sarvesh Srivastava (tax), Indraneel Ghosh (litigation), Neeru Tuteja (capital markets and private equity), Shradha Puri (M&A and general corporate and commercial), and Shaiwal Srivastava (alternative dispute resolution).
