Howard Lam has joined the office of Latham & Watkins in Hong Kong as a partner in the finance department.

Lam’s practice focuses on banking, cross-border debt restructuring and insolvency work, and complex financing transactions. He has advised banks, private equity funds and companies in Hong Kong and mainland China on high-profile financings and restructurings across Asia and Europe.
“Howard will further strengthen our Asian finance practice and will broaden our expertise across the region including in the Hong Kong and China markets,” said David Miles, chairman of Latham & Watkins’ Asia practice.
