Aureus Law Partners has expanded its Mumbai practice with the appointment of Bhavin Patel as of counsel.
Patel joins the firm from IDfy, a human resources analytics and decision-making platform, where he was vice president of strategy and legal. He has also worked as a freelance legal education consultant; with Rainmaker – an online learning, content, and technology company focused on the legal sector; and with LST, a law entrance coaching and legal education institute; as well as with DSK Legal and in-house at ITC.

Commenting on his motivations for joining Aureus, Patel told India Business Law Journal: “I’ve seen Aureus Law Partners grow from strength to strength in the past three years. Patel’s hiring follows the firm’s recent expansion to Dehradun in Uttarakhand, where managing associate Suresh Uniyal is based. Managing partner Abhishek Dutta said further expansion in Mumbai is on the cards, along with a possible office opening in Bhopal as part of the firm’s growth strategy.
