The registered foreign lawyers at Anderson Mori & Tomotsune who are qualified in the US, the UK and mainland China will be appointed into partnership through a foreign law joint enterprise. The measure launches on 1 January 2021 to strengthen the firm’s cross-border capabilities.
Following the launch, the official firm name in Japanese will change to “Anderson Mori & Tomotsune Gaikokuho-Kyodo-Jigyo”, but the English name will remain Anderson Mori & Tomotsune.
This joint enterprise will enable Japanese lawyers and registered foreign lawyers to establish an equal partnership and support each other to provide better support to a wide variety of cases.
