In a bid to strengthen its presence in India, international law firm Clyde & Co has announced an official association with Mumbai-based firm ALMT Legal.
The tie-up is the latest in a growing list of formal alliances between Indian and overseas firms, most recently those between AZB & Partners and Clifford Chance, Talwar Thakore Associates and Linklaters, and Trilegal and Allen & Overy.
With over 1,300 staff based in 21 offices worldwide, Clyde & Co boasts considerable expertise in the insurance and reinsurance industry. The firm has also demonstrated its strength in industries such as aviation and aerospace, energy, trade and commodities, and shipping, transport and logistics.
