Singapore-based Dentons Rodyk has strengthened its tax and trusts, estates and wealth preservation practices with the appointment of Kevin Ng as a partner.

Ng joins from Deloitte, the audit, consulting, tax and advisory services firm, where he worked for more than four years, including two years as a tax director.

His practice covers domestic and international tax matters, including cross-border tax structuring, tax treaties, goods and services tax, stamp duty and the OECD Base Erosion and Profit Shifting Pillar Two initiative.

“Kevin’s appointment is a strategic hire for our growing tax and trusts, estates and wealth preservation practices. He has been specially hired for his experience, which is highly complementary to the existing strengths of our expanding practice,” Gerald Singham, global vice-chair and Asean CEO at Dentons, as well as Dentons Rodyk managing partner, told Asia Business Law Journal.

“His experience complements the existing strengths of the team and will enable us to continue meeting the increasing demand from clients for sophisticated tax advice.”
