On 12 November, the Competition Commission of India (CCI) approved a merger filing by Etihad Airways and Jet Airways. An Amarchand Mangaldas team led by Mumbai-based competition law partner Nisha Kaur Uberoi acted for both airlines at the CCI. Uberoi and her team have so far filed 41 notices of acquisitions. The team was also involved in the two long-form notifications of acquisitions that have been filed to date.
