Sourish Mohan Mitra recently joined Gartner India’s legal team as director, legal affairs.

He joined the Gurgaon office of the New York-listed IT research and advisory company and will report to the associate general counsel in Sydney, Anne Tracy.
Gartner has been in expansion mode. The company recently made a US$2.6 billion acquisition of CEB, a provider of business research and analysis. Mitra told Asia Business Law Journal that he was handling the integration of the acquisition in India from a legal and secretarial perspective.
“It is exciting to be part of Gartner’s expansion plans in India,” said Mitra, adding that the company is “consistently ranked as one of the best places to work”
