The former vice president and general counsel of global consumer electronics company HTC Corporation, Marcus Woo, has rejoined Perkins Coie in New York as a partner in the firm’s intellectual property (IP) practice. He will be reassigned to the Taipei office once local registration is completed.
Woo previously joined Perkins Coie in New York as an associate in 1993, and gained a partnership in 1997. During his six years of career as general counsel of HTC since 2014, he oversaw global legal affairs for the company’s business in Europe, the US, and subsidiaries in China in terms of patent litigation, prosecution and management.
