Sidley Austin recently added Allan Wardrop to the firm’s Hong Kong office as a partner in its global finance practice. He joined from Hogan Lovells.

Wardrop specializes in private equities, hedge funds, mezzanine, special situation financings and investments, and has experience advising senior secured creditors in leveraged and acquisition finance transactions as well as debt restructurings, corporate lending, cross-border transactions, property financings, and direct and alternative lending by funds.
“He brings extensive experience with large-scale acquisitions and takeovers in Asia to our clients in the global finance arena,” said Constance Choy, Sidley Austin’s China managing partner.
