Khaitan & Co has promoted 12 lawyers to its partnership, eight lawyers to associate partner level and four lawyers to the role of counsel. A total of over 100 promotions across ranks and offices followed the firm’s evaluation of over 605 members – both fee and non-fee earners – through an online appraisal exercise.

The new partners are: Kartick Maheshwari (corporate) and Mehul Shah (corporate) in Mumbai; Ashwin Bishnoi (corporate and finance), Dibyanshu (energy, infrastructure and resources), Diwakar Maheshwari (dispute resolution), Gaurav Juneja (dispute resolution), GT Thomas Philippe (corporate), Prasenjit Chakravarti (corporate) and Prateek Kumar (dispute resolution) in New Delhi; Nandini Khaitan (dispute resolution) and Ratnesh Rai (dispute resolution) in Kolkata; and Sharad Moudgal (corporate) in Bangalore.
The associate partners are: Aditya Cheriyan (securities and capital markets), Moin Ladha (securities and capital markets), Pooja Patel (corporate), Peshwan Jehangir (dispute resolution), Sameer Sah (corporate), Shivanshu Thaplyal (energy, infrastructure and resources) and Vinita Krishnan (direct tax) in Mumbai; and Atul Pandey (corporate) in New Delhi.
The new counsel are: Shailendra Bhandare (intellectual property) and Smriti Yadav (intellectual property) in Mumbai; Shilpi Jain (corporate) in New Delhi; and Trivikram Khaitan (corporate) in Kolkata.
