In April, LexOrbis opened an office in Bangalore to expand its reach and cater to local technology product companies, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups. It has focused on creating innovative systems to make IP protection simpler, more accessible and affordable.
“While Inolyst brings innovative and user-friendly client service platforms, LexOrbis adds its vast pool of domain and legal expertise to act as one-stop-shop for all IP needs of ever growing startups and SMEs in south India,” said Manisha Singh, partner-in-charge at LexOrbis.
The combined firm will have a team of 10 IP lawyers in Bangalore.
Singh said there would be “great synergy” between the two firms. Dilip Kumar, the CEO and founder of Inolyst, “is well known in the startup and SME community and he, with his team … [has conceptualized] innovative platforms for efficient client service,” Singh added.
