Maneesha Kongovi, who joined Argus Partners as a partner in the disputes team in Bengaluru in July, said her decision was motivated by the importance the firm attached to the practice.
“Litigation, as a practice area, is valued within the firm,” said Kongovi of her decision, adding that she wanted to work in the city.
Kongovi practised before the Supreme Court, high court, civil court, National Company Law Tribunal and arbitration tribunals after creating her own practice in 2014.
