Cravath Swaine & Moore recently lost one of its leading India experts when partner Tim Massad was named chief counsel for the Troubled Assets Relief Program at the US Department of the Treasury.

“It is tough to see Tim to go, but it is a great opportunity for him,” said fellow partner Philip Boeckman.

He recently served as special legal adviser to the Congressional Oversight Panel for Economic Stabilization.
