Norton Rose Fulbright announced the appointment of David Olds as of counsel in its Singapore-based technology team. Olds has spent a number of years in Yangon and will assist in the development of the firm’s Myanmar practice.

Olds previously worked in the firm’s Hong Kong and Singapore offices for four years, before joining a leading telecoms company as legal director. His practice focuses on technology and telecoms-related matters in the Asia-Pacific region.
Olds has focused on assisting clients to enter important emerging markets in this region and managing the risks that may arise as their businesses expand and the legal and regulatory environment changes.
“Having worked as an in-house legal director for a major telecoms company in the region, I am delighted to be returning to Norton Rose Fulbright,” he said.
