In a first for Singapore’s corporate counsel community, the Singapore Corporate Counsel Association (SCCA) hosted a Buka Puasa (or Iftar) event to observe the Muslim holy month of Ramadan on 7 June.
The event was open to all members of the legal profession and jointly organized with Ashurst, an SCCA partner.
The event was part of SCCA’s efforts to champion diversity and inclusion in Singapore workplaces, and engage the legal profession in its journey to accept and embrace the differences in society.
