Trilegal has opened an office in Gurgaon to gain greater access and proximity to its clients in the area. Corporate partners Ravindra Bandhakavi, Harsh Pais, Yogesh Singh and Vaibhav Kothari will head up the office.

The firm also announced the recruitment of S&R Associates partner Bhakta Patnaik to head up its capital markets practice. Patnaik previously worked at Amarchand Mangaldas and at Linklaters in Singapore.
His hiring follows Trilegal’s introduction of a new governance structure and the consolidation of the firm’s work across all practices into three groups – corporate, projects and disputes – in a bid to create a more structured and integrated approach towards client delivery and prepare the firm for its next phase of growth.
