Saga Legal has advised healthtech company Ultrahuman on its fresh USD70 million fundraise, attracting investors including Qualcomm Ventures, Alpha Wave, Blume Ventures, Nexus Venture Partners and Alteria Capital.
The Saga Legal transaction team comprised partner Neeraj Vyas, and senior associates Ayush Maheshwari and Mehak Chadha, advising Ultrahuman on documentation, negotiations and execution of the investment. The team also assisted on the transaction process through closing, working closely with Ultrahuman’s legal team, including general counsel Abhilasha Bhatnagar and senior corporate counsel Shashank Sharma.
The fresh capital will support Ultrahuman’s investment in research and development across sensing technologies, the application of artificial intelligence, miniaturised electronics and health algorithms.
Mohit Kumar and Vatsal Singhal founded Ultrahuman in 2019, which manufactures smart rings that monitors health data. The company has raised more than USD173 million to date and has the backing of investors, including Nexus Venture Partners, Steadview Capital, Blume Ventures and Premji Invest.
