Chung, formerly of Ropes & Gray, has spent 26 years advising on public M&A and equity capital markets transactions, covering both state and privately owned companies in China and elsewhere in Asia, as well as the listings of international companies in Hong Kong. He also brings experience in the mining and commodities sectors.
“Julian’s track record in equities is a perfect complement to our debt finance practice, and will be of great additional value to our clients,” said John Hartley, executive partner of White & Case’s Hong Kong office and head of the firm’s banking, capital markets and restructuring practice in Asia.
