Wintell & Co has recruited dispute resolution specialist Jiang Mingze as a senior partner in its Shanghai office.
Jiang specialises in the finance and real estate fields, and he is particularly skilled in cross-border commercial arbitration as well as contract disputes involving construction projects.
One of his most recent notable cases was a five-year-long contract fraud case involving JD.com’s affiliate company, Beijing Jingdong Century Trading. Jiang successfully protected the retailer from paying RMB3.4 billion in compensation at the Shanghai Financial Court.
Before joining #Wintell & Co#, Jiang was a partner at Shihui Partners where he represented clients such as mining giant China Minmetals and private equity funds. He also previously practised at King & Wood Mallesons.
