IP boutique Anand and Anand undertook a recruitment exercise this month, cutting loose a number of professionals and appointing new talent to the firm.

The new recruits include several senior level associates, a consultant and a partner. They bring with them experience from some of India’s most renowned IP firms such as Remfry & Sagar, Saikrishna & Associates and Lall Lahiri & Salhotra, and top companies, including the Aditya Birla Group, Britannia Industries and Castrol India.
Rajiv Bhatnagar and Devinder Singh Rawat have joined the firm’s patents department, while Vaishali Mittal and Sarita Joglekar have been appointed as managing associates. The firm also hired Aparajita Asthana Rao and Divya Vijan as senior associates in its litigation department, and Ajay Rao as a senior associate in its trademark department. In addition, Anand and Anand welcomed Meghmala Sharma to its commercial and transactional IP practice, Saif Khan and Manish Biala to its litigation and enforcement practice and Jagdish Sagar to its partnership board.
