
The Japan In-House Lawyers Association (JILA) has officially become the eighth member of the Asia Pacific Corporate Counsel Alliance (APCCA), marking a significant milestone in regional collaboration among in-house legal professionals.
The JILA was represented at the signing ceremony by vice president and director, Satoshi Shinkuma, while the APCCA’s director of international relations and membership, Anil Changaroth, signed on behalf of the alliance.
The ceremony was joined by representatives from member associations including the Indonesian Corporate Counsel Association (ICCA), Legal Management Council of the Philippines (LMCP), Federation of Indian Corporate Lawyers (FICL), Singapore Corporate Counsel Association (SCCA), and Malaysia Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA).
The JILA’s membership strengthens the APCCA’s commitment to fostering collaboration and solidarity across the region. The alliance aims to advance the in-house counsel profession, enhancing capabilities and expertise while creating tangible impact for business growth and economic progress.
