Lall Lahiri & Salhotra, an IP boutique based in Gurgaon, has recruited eight new lawyers to replace those who left the firm over the last month. In a major hiring spree, the firm poached two lawyers from Zeus IP, one from Dua Associates and another from the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry. The recruits include Divya Mehta, who joins the trademark prosecution department, Nitisha Bishnoi and Zeeshan Khan, who join the litigation department, Sachin Arora and Priyadarshini Sharma, who will focus on patents, and Arindom Hazarika, Sumeera Seth and Gauri Kumar, who will work on trademark oppositions.

The firm also promoted to the partnership, RC Dhawan, who heads the patent department.
According to Rahul Chaudhury, a partner at Lall Lahiri & Salhotra, the search for new talent “became necessary to ensure the continued efficiency and credibility of the firm.”
Over recent months, the IP boutique has lost nine of its lawyers. Some were asked to resign, while others chose to leave to pursue other opportunities. Those who left are Shakti Arora Khera, Rachna Bishnoi, Shalika Bhalla, Bhavna Gandhi, Shreya Kolay, Keerti Singh, Anuj Kulshreshta, Reshma Pramila Minz and Amit Mahaian.
