Verus has strengthened its corporate advisory and transactions practice with the appointment of Siddharth Bhavnani as a partner.
Bhavnani had worked with Dua Associates and Tatva Legal before joining the firm. His core practice areas include M&A, joint ventures and real estate, particularly in the National Capital Region.

He was keen to build his own practice, but said he “felt the need for a platform that provided the right mix of freedom, professionalism and infrastructure support required to build such practice around my core competencies.” Bhavnani found Verus professional, transparent and promising in terms of developing his own practice.
“While Tatva and Dua helped me build strong skill sets, which I draw on even now, I am more enthused by the thought of independently building a practice over which I exercise a larger degree of control and ownership,” he told India Business Law Journal. “At Verus, I look forward to focusing on the development of, and maintaining, client relationships for the firm while ensuring delivery of high quality legal services.”
